One23PDF is a privacy-first PDF toolkit. We process all files entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to our servers. This privacy policy explains what data we collect (very little), what we don't collect (your files), and how we handle everything in between.

2. Files Never Leave Your Device

Our core promise is simple: your files stay on your device. Here's exactly what that means:

• ✅All PDF processing is 100% client-side — files are NOT uploaded to any server.
• ✅Files are NOT stored anywhere — not on our servers, not in the cloud, nowhere.
• ✅Files are processed using JavaScript libraries running in your browser's memory.
• ✅Files are discarded when you close the tab or navigate away.
• ✅We have no technical ability to access your files, even if we wanted to.

3. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data to provide the service and improve the experience:

• •Account information — if you create an account, we store your email address and name for authentication and communication purposes.
• •Payment information — payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your credit card or bank details. We receive only transaction confirmation and subscription status from Razorpay.
• •Anonymous usage analytics — page views and tool usage counts via Google Analytics (anonymized). This can be opted out via our cookie consent banner.

We use a minimal set of cookies and browser storage:

• •Session cookie — used for authentication if you are signed in. Essential for account functionality.
• •localStorage — used to store usage tracking counters, user preferences (e.g., theme), and cookie consent choice. This data never leaves your browser.
• •Analytics cookies — Google Analytics cookies are only set if you accept “All” cookies via our consent banner. Choosing “Essential Only” disables analytics tracking entirely.

We use Google Analytics to understand how our tools are used and to improve the service. Analytics data is anonymized — no personal identifiers are attached.

You can opt out of analytics tracking by selecting “Essential Only” on the cookie consent banner, or by using your browser's “Do Not Track” setting, or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out extension.

7. Newsletter

If you opt in to our newsletter, your email address is stored with our newsletter service provider (Opinnn) for the sole purpose of sending you PDF tips, product updates, and relevant content. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

8. Third-Party Services

We use a minimal set of third-party services, each for a specific purpose:

• •Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions. Razorpay handles your card/bank data securely under their own privacy policy.
• •Supabase — authentication and database services for user accounts and subscription management.
• •Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g., password resets, subscription confirmations).
• •Sentry — error tracking and performance monitoring. No file data or personal documents are sent to Sentry.
• •Google Analytics — anonymized page view and tool usage tracking (opt-out available).

9. Data Retention

• •Account data — retained until you delete your account.
• •Usage data — anonymized analytics data is retained for 30 days, then automatically purged.
• •File data — not applicable. Files are never stored on our servers.

10. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• •Rectification — request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• •Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data.
• •Data portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
