Convert HEIC and HEIF Photos to JPG

HEIC is a photo format used by many iPhones. When a website, form, or recipient needs a JPG instead, choose the HEIC files here and convert them in your browser. Preview the JPGs, download one image or all results as a ZIP, or send the finished images to Image to PDF without selecting them again.

JPG is a different format, so the new file may be larger than the HEIC original and camera metadata or live-photo motion may not carry over. Check orientation and color in the preview before sharing. This tool processes image contents locally; the site may still contact its API for account and usage details.

Will JPG Be Smaller Than HEIC?

Often it will be larger. HEIC is designed for efficient storage, while JPG is useful for broad compatibility. Choose Smaller file if a compact JPG matters, then inspect its actual size and detail.

What About Live Photos and Metadata?

The JPG is a still image. Motion, depth data, camera details, location, and other HEIC metadata may not be carried into the new file. Keep the original HEIC for archival use.

Why Might a File Fail?

HEIC and HEIF can contain different image encodings and multi-image structures. A damaged or unsupported file may fail conversion. The tool reports that failure and does not offer it as a completed JPG.
